Half the store is cards, games and a play space that seats 24. The other half is RC: trucks, crawlers, planes, and the parts and know-how to fix them.

Every Magic set lives in binders on the shelves: pull one down and flip through it at your own pace. The old stuff, the cards you only hear about, sits behind the glass, and staff will pull anything you want a closer look at.

Pokémon too: singles, sealed, and vintage sealed.

    Flights of Fantasy opens

    A science-fiction and fantasy bookstore in Albany, first on Ontario St. Magic, D&D and Warhammer move in early on.

  2. 2021

    Flights 2

    The owner retires during the pandemic. Dave Sheedy, a long-time employee, takes over with his partner, and the shop reopens as Flights 2 at 381 Sand Creek Rd.

    Cards, RC, and a cat

    Cards and games, a full RC shop, four game nights a week, and BobToo keeping an eye on the door.
